RESEARCH SELECTION · 14 OCTOBER 2026
The UK’s tallest guyed masts
Ranked by published total height above ground, including the top antenna. Freestanding towers, buildings and demolished structures are excluded. Published measurements are not a new survey.
The London addition
Crystal Palace · 219 m is a freestanding lattice tower, not a top-five guyed mast. Four of the five ranked masts plus Crystal Palace make five additions, bringing the viewer to ten sites. Emley Moor is already included and is also a freestanding tower.
Height caveats
Belmont is reported as 351–351.7 m; its old 387.7 m height is historical. Caldbeck is 337 m in Ofcom’s account but 338.3 m in the specialist gallery. Durris appears as 322.0 and 322.6 m. These differences do not change the ranking shown. This is a public-source research ranking, not a certified current national inventory.
